Our recent move to 80 Cannon Street marks a significant milestone in our company’s journey. Our decision to relocate was the result of extensive discussions with our team to find the perfect place that suits our people’s needs.
The new space is not only well-connected but also surrounded by numerous amenities. One of its standout features is the abundance of natural light and stunning city views that has created a vibrant and visually connected environment. The design draws on inspiration from our brand’s identity, while also reusing some of the furniture, panelling, and partitioning from our previous office.
Although the new space is smaller than our previous one, the layout has significantly optimised the utilisation of the floorplate. We now have a more spacious communal café area and a variety of work settings, including flexible desks for our visiting delivery teams, private phone booths, open-plan breakout spaces, smaller meeting rooms and a generous tech enabled boardroom.
The logistics challenges during the fit-out were not insignificant. To minimise disruption to our neighbours, we conducted a portion of the work out of hours. Moreover, due to limitations on lift size and availability, our team had to carry a substantial amount of partitioning up eight flights of stairs. We also made structural adjustments to facilitate a sliding partition wall that enhances the functionality of our boardroom for conferences and training sessions.
Our move to 80 Cannon Street demonstrates our commitment to providing a more efficient and inspiring workplace for our team while considering our neighbours and the environment. This new chapter promises continued growth, collaboration and success for Structure Tone London.
